"Cool off Wolfy, she went for a run with me. Don't be a big bad wolf." A masculine voice which exuded nothing less the sensuality bellowed from outside the door which was still open and my mouth fell open.
Nobody even knew me yet in this pack so who would be backing me up?
Soon, the person who had spoke stepped into his room and forgive me if I said Alaric was perfect, whoever this person was, was nothing less than perfection.
"I'm sure your back still aches from much sprinting. Sorry, I had to stress you out that much." He said placing his hands on my back and that sent chill shivers down my spine.
Its sinful to be this hot. He looked more like a Greek god and his facial features would make any woman weak in her knees.
Don't worry about me, my knees are already wobbling.
"Karayan, take your hands off her." Alaric growled standing up from the bed abruptly.
Karayan! The name even sounded seductive. I wondered how it would sound if I was actually moaning it. Ka...ra...yan.
Dear goddess, cleanse my head of evil thoughts because what the hell am i thinking of? I'm married!
"Sorry brother, I didn't want you to misunderstand thats why I followed her all the way here because I was certain you'd be here. So I can explain." Karayan states in a voice laced with respect yet held a lot of authority in it.
Brother? Which means they were brothers?
Why didnt Karayan attend our wedding if he Was Alaric's brother? There were a lot of unsettled questions in my head making my headache.
"Who said you could call me brother from that filthy mouth of yours? And who said you could take my wife for a sprint?" Alaric groveled and I could swear that if I let them bicker on, whatever scene it would end in; I wouldn't like to see it.
"You didn’t look like you were going to keep her company anytime soon and this is her first day of been a bride. Her family isn't here and she's just indoors feeling down casted, feeling like she doesn't belong here. She's your wife, not some f*****g new toy you bought." Karayan shouted softly and I stared at him.
Interesting! This is what you call a man not some disrespectful maniac. Why didn't my parents choose this one instead?
"Alaric, come here. There's something I want to show you." A female's voice chirp from across the room and Alaric's face lit up.
Maybe its his mistress or do they have a sister?
Alaric giving Karayan a long glance, finally walked out.
"That's it? You're going to abandon your wife because your w***e, Lupa is about to show you something that wouldn't really make sense?" Karayan said, his expression looked like he was in utter disappointment and me...well, I have nothing to say here.
"Thank you." I finally said acknowledging Karayan as Alaric exited the room.
"I'm guessing you ran back to see your parents. My only question why you're back?" Karayan asked looking down at me.
He was quite a towering figure.... about 135cm and his shoulders were nicely structured and firm placed on good biceps and abs.
I really need to stop envisioning this mans naked body in my head.
"I guess I had to come back anyways or the Alpha king would still find me." I said and sat back on my bed feeling frustrated, looking everywhere else but his eyes.
I can't look at his eyes.
"It just have been really stressful running back and forth." He said and approached me.
Nope, wrong.
I didnt know he was approaching me till he was about 0.1 meters away from me.
Staring intensely at my eyes, I used up all my self control not to look at his lips.
His hand went to my hair and he brought them out abruptly.
"You had a little something in your hair." He stated and showed me the green leave that was hanging on my head.
"Thank you." I answered and he stood up.
"See you around." He said in that deep, conceding voice and he left.
And ever since that day, my heart ached to see him everyday.
But I knew that it was wrong and it was a lost cause. My parents had an aim in sending me here so I have to help them accomplish that.
I have to do my duties well even if it was to a total d**k Head. Waking up every morning and going for a sprint was a norm for me but today, after returning from the sprint; I was laying in my bed when I head someone knock.
"Who is it?" I called standing up from the bed as I was sure I wasn't expecting any visitor.
"Open the door and stop yelling like some uncivilized bastard. Oh hold up, what am I saying? You're uncivilized." A female voice came and my facial expression grew sour while my curiosity got the better part of me in finding out who it was.
Opening the door, I realized that it was none else than Lupa.
"Well, hello to you too Lupa." I sarcastically answered with furrowed brows and she chuckled.
"Don't think nobody knows what you're doing. Aren't you married to Alaric? Why then do you go out with Karayan every day? Its becoming overbearing, perhaps I should report to the Alpha king that you're an infidel wife." She smirked, pushing the strands of her hair t the back of her ear.
"Wow, I wouldn't believe it in a thousand years that you out of everyone would say I'm that beautiful to captivate the hearts of two men. How relaxing. Thanks though you haven't found your mate or your husband. You're just here waiting to remain lonely at old age." I fired back smiling and I'm sure my facial expression pissed her off.
"What did you say?" She growled and I felt a sting on my face.
"How dare you talk to me that way?" She yelled and soon I felt another bang on my ears but this time she wasn't the one that slapped me.
Raising my head up slowly, I found Alaric staring at me like a monster.
But then, I wasn’t prepared for the next slapped that blurred my vision, I screamed out in pain as I staggered back into the room.
“Your mouth has no filter, from now henceforth you’d learn how to talk.” Alaric said, his eyes were dark and intimidating and I just stood there, holding my face as he walked away with Lupa.
