Rieka Heaving a sigh to make sure that I wasn't drooling, I shut my eyes to stable myself. "You've seen me so?" He was saying making me feel like my presence wasn't worthy to be acknowledged. Heck!! He didn't even greet my parents not to talk of acknowledging them. How insolent. "If you hadn't said something just now, I would have swore that you were dumb. My parents aren't invisible, you could say hi and your tongue won't split into two." I scoffed and he stared at me with a smirk etched on the corner of his lips tempting me to punch them back in. "I don't think its necessary." He said twitching his brows. I would have asked where he got his personality, but from the look of things, he was simply replicating his father. I guess leadership made the Alpha king have some ounce of respect but have you seen these men? Let's forget about the Alpha king, he's none of my problem. Alaric Aldawolf! It was like I was about to get married to a walking sarcastic temptation. His face was nicely sculptured, straight pointed nose, chiseled jaw line, full pink luscious lips, hazel eyes. Damn!! It should be sinful to be this hot and thinking that I have to get married to this man and avoid him because of the rumours I've heard and the attitude he was displaying right now...damn, that would be one hard task. "I understand that I look mesmerizing but can you get a grip on yourself?" Alaric Aldawolf said feeling himself and I scrunched my face up staring at his proud look and smile. "You look weird doing that." I commented and walked back to the living room sitting on the couch. "Father, I thought she was supposed to return with us today." He asked staring a the Alpha of all Alpha's who was walking out the door. "I did try to instigate that but she refused saying vehemently that she wouldn't leave till its the right time for the ceremony. She's quite defiant, I'm sure you'll love her." The Alpha said with a smirk on his face. They were both smirking like they both had a evil agenda up their sleeves. "And thats it, you agreed to that just because she said so?" He pressed on and the Alpha nodded walking out with his guards. "It doesn't make any sense." Alaric muttered before following his father's trail. "Of course it doesn't and wouldn't for someone who doesn't have brain." I mumbled but loud enough for him to hear though I would say that he pretended not to hear it. "At this rate, you'll get yourself killed." Mom yelled as soon as the royal family had left the vicinity. "What do you mean?" I asked with the way mom was acting all fidgety and dad was pacing around the room. "How would you talk to your husband to be that way? You're going to be living in his house as his wife for the remaining days of your life so you should start earning his respect instead of acting like a total nut case." Mom yelled shaking me violently on the chair. "Well, you know selling me off to marriage without giving me much of a say must have turned me into a nut case so I intend to remain that way." I said and walked out with their warnings and yells echoing till it died out when I shut the door to my room. It was my wedding day and though I knew that I couldn't change anything that was about to happen, I knew for sure that I wasn't prepared to be stuffed inside of an extra tight corset. "Miss, you really have to put on your dress now." The head maid informed as the sound of metal clinging against the metal lid laying on top of the table snapped me back to reality. "What are all these pins for?" I asked and the head maid smiled. "They're for your corset and dress to keep it fit. You'd look gorgeous when we're done." The head maid said with a huge smile plastered on her face like she was proud of what was forthcoming. The only thing that my head could register was the fact that all those pin were to be pierced inside of my skin technically- I mean it's to be pierced into my corset and the corset is like a second skin so its right to say that, it would be pierced onto my skin. Anyways, they were done and I was able to stay sane till the Alpha King and Alaric came and after they were done paying the dowry, I had to leave with them. Letting others enjoy the feast! Riding back to the Alpha's pack, an entirely new pack.....I stared at the land that loved me, the land that I once called home. Now I had no choice but to call the new pack I would be heading to home! I hope it feels like home though. Alighting the chariot, I knew that Alaric was a stupid punk but at least I expected him to take me to wherever our room was. Instead, he alighted and went away. Even the Alpha king didn't spare me a glance. I felt lost, really lost. Anyways, I'm like a weed...I'd try to survive at any condition I found myself. "Ma'am, I'm your assigned personal maid, Madeleine." A lady who approached me said and I nodded. Maybe I wasn't really forgotten. "I'd escort you to your room." She said and I stared at her. "You mean, I and Alaric isn't staying in the same room as couples?" I questioned as I perused her eyes. "As inconvenient as that would sound, that's the only order I was given." She said and I bursted out laughing. "inconvenient??? Thats the best news I've received so fat. Its much better than any Congratulations." I announced and it was Madeliene's turn to stare at me like I had suddenly grown horns. Anyways, she escorted me to the room and I changed to normal clothes. But as Madeleine exited the room, I immediately felt home sick. And thats, I'm going home. I can't survive here!
