“There is someone on the end of that who would like to talk to you. Tell them I sent you, but don’t mention it to anyone else, and don’t use the code while you’re still inside the compound.”
“Will that person be able to get me transport?”
“I don’t know, but I have heard your request.”
“We’re on a very tight schedule.”
“I know. If you haven’t heard anything by nine tonight, do whatever you want. Just give me some time.”
She preceded us out of the locker room, chatting about the weather.
