Step eight: Be ruthless with grumblers. Allow grumblers and the chronically disaffected any leeway in any respect and they may spread disquiet or even panic for the duration of the group. As fast as you could, you need to isolate them and cast off them. All companies include a middle of individuals who are greater influenced and disciplined than the relaxation--your first-class squaddies. Recognize them, cultivate their goodwill, and set them up as examples. These humans will function natural ballasts in opposition to folks who are disaffected and panicky.
