A BROKEN TRUST
A tree so beautifully tall
The way it bends, it fall
And butchered by a trusted axe
Who betrays it to carryout a task
Oh once stood as a bright candle
Taken by the axe to make it's handle
Once stood for many as shade
But now being burnt below it said
The birds I gave a place to live
The Arthropods shelter I freely give
The reptiles around me stayed
To man on me he laid
Now it pains me to trust
The axe I trusted showed me wrath
Cutting me because I grew free
Bundled me because I was a beautiful grown tree.
