CHAPTER NINETEENA Word or Two Leeder did in fact speak to Gamadge about the Sillerman case, but not until the summer of 1945, when they met again for the first time. It was in the Malcolms’ apartment, where they had been invited for supper. The Malcolms had been married for three months.
