That evening after people had eaten, Sarah snagged Frank and they found a quiet place to talk away from camp. As she poled her way over to a large flat rock and sat down, Frank thought about the conversation he’d had with Tashi just before dinner. He told the old lama he was afraid of falling in love with the woman. Tashi listened as he debated what he should and shouldn’t do. But as always, the lama left him to ponder a question.
