Frank returned to the Khum Jung Camp deep in thought. As he headed for the Command tent, he saw Sarah and Sangye chatting by the fire pit. She looked up as he went by. “Hi, where you been all morning?” “Just out and about. How’s the ankle?” She lifted her foot and rubbed the back of her neck. “It aches, but it’s better.” “Headache?” Frank said. “A bit. I popped a couple of Tylenol,” she replied. Sangye said, “Cranston called in. Said he is in Lobuche and will be here tomorrow.” “Oh, good,” Frank said. Turning to Sarah, he added, “He’s the EMT I told you about. I’ll have him check that ankle of yours as soon as he gets here. Right now, I need a cup of tea.” He winked at her, which brought a smile to her face, then left them to continue with their conversation. Inside the Command tent
