Rose was the maid, chef, and punching bag in the mansion which parker call a paradise.

Even with four servants in the house, she used to do everything by herself. She used to be r***d, molested, and treated like a dog in the house.

Uncle instructed her for making dinner for the guests that would be arriving soon.

So she was busy preparing everything for the guest before they come.

And the doorbell rang.

Rose tried to get out of the kitchen to open the door when uncle john beat her to it and said in venom-filled words to go inside the room as he didn't want to make anyone notice even about what happened to her last night.

Plus he instructed Erica to prepare her makeup so that her bruises could stay hidden.

Erica took rose inside her room to do her makeover to hide rose's marks as instructed by her father.

After hiding all the bruises of rose, she lefts.

Here rose went back to the kitchen, just to see the preparations.

Uncle went to open the door and a gorgeous hazel-eyed black-haired man of about 6 feet of height came inside.

Uncle John's smiled and welcome them inside while calling their names as James black and Mrs black.

The old lady smiled at uncle John and James just look around the house.

James was too confident for his benefit and someone who will do anything to get what he wants. He was arrogant and rude. He very well knew how much people fear from him. The whole Netherlands knew.

Uncle John guided them to the guest room, pointing at the sofa.

This is both set on the sofa. The old lady set on a single sofa while James took the love seat.

Across his legs over The other leaning back like a king.

His personality shows nothing but power and wealth.

Subsequently, Erica came down the stairs wearing a low-cut cleavage revealing black dress with red heels.

Came with the same seductive smile that she shows to every man who she knew was loaded with money.

Instead of greeting the old lady she walked to James and greeted him.

James didn't like it. He got up and pointed to his grandmother with a smile," meet my granny".

Erica looked at the old lady and her dress up which was reflecting nothing but simple and less costly attires which frustrated her. But just to show James how nice she is, she greeted granny with a fake smile, and in return, granny said," nice to meet you, child".

Erica fake smiled at her and then turn back to James. She looked at his face and read it clearly over his face that he wasn't even a little interested in her.

Rose knew nothing about what was happening there. She was busy making dinner for everyone.

When the time came to serve the food a servant fainting. So in his turn to serve, rose herself went to serve the food.

Everyone gathered in the dining area for dinner.

James noticed rose and find her attractive but not in an innocent way.

Uncle John introduced," rose this is Mr amber black. James grandmother. James' father and your father were once business partners and used to work together.

He pointed to the man who couldn't take his eyes off rose"."And that's James"...

Rose hadn't had enough courage to even uplift her eyelids to see the man standing in front of her.

She was terrified and was shivering to death.

She fake smiled at the man who was standing in front of her, but only she knew what she was going through.

In the very first meeting, James felt a certain kind of attraction towards rose that he had never encountered in his entire life.

After a while of talking and greeting each other, everyone went to the dining area for dinner.

Granny sat on the head seat of the dining table beside her but John and rose and to her opposite were James and Erica.

Erica was trying her best to seduce James but everything in one could read James' face which had no interest in Erica.

He was staring at a rose, continuously.

Her makeup, her brown eyes, and brown hair, her shyness and uncomfortable made him even more attracted to her.

On this side rose was feeling scared by his continuous glares.

After dinner, everyone again went back to the guest room.

Mrs black sat on the single sofa again beside where uncle John was sitting and James and Erica were sitting on the loveseat.

Erica wasn't leaving even a chance to impress James even after his continuous attempts to make her know that he isn't interested in her.

Meanwhile, uncle John instructed rose to bring champagne for everyone.

Rose went inside the kitchen and brought champagne in 4 glasses as she doesn't drink champagne.

She brings it first to the granny and after taking it granny said" thank you little girl", with a smile on her face, rose smiled back and moved to uncle John. He was the only person in Emily's life whom she hated from her heart out.

After taking the glass of champagne he falsely grinned looking toward her and said:" serve well, dear"...

It was looking a kind of warning that if rose will make any mistake, she will have to bear the consequences.

After serving him she went to Jack and Erica.

She serve Jack who was staring at her the entire time, he took up the glass of champagne slowly while steering at rose which Erica noticed, and jealousy she spill her glass of champagne on rose's dress and excused it by saying it was a mistake.

From the very beginning rose was feeling terrified and whatever happened to her last night was making her feel even lower whatever Erica did made her spill out everything that she had stuffed inside her heart. It made her cry.

Her eyes flooded with tears but she was terrified of uncle John, which made her hide all her pain stuffed inside her and she wipes up her tears without letting them be noticed by anyone there.
