Anastasia and Andrew returned from their trip quite early the next day.
Meanwhile, Andrea had expected them to arrive a little later in the day reason being that they had both gone for the conference was the excuse of a second honeymoon . Anastasia was perfectly capable of going alone.
They tried to tip toe into the house and into their room without Andrea and the twins finding out they had returned early from the trip. The two day vacation they had taken together was up and they needed to relive a few hours of it in their own apartment, away from the chaos the twins provided.
Anastasia and Andrew clearly loved their children, but they had not had this much time together in a while. This two days without the kids was blissful and they needed to extend it by a few hours.
