“Stay still!” Hedda sighed as Seuss jumped to his feet and kicked the stool by his bed, sending it flying across the room. Her eyes followed him as he paced back and forth, his face twisted in rage. She had peeled the remains of his shirt from his back, but the burned skin got aggravated at the simplest touch. Healing the damage barely made a difference, especially with Larson’s darkness still lingering on their bodies.
