Chapter 20 It was three in the morning when Walker locked the door. The lights were off, the house was quiet, and Kate was asleep upstairs. It had been quite a night, since he now had a girl—an official girlfriend, as he had told everyone—had solved a case in a way he’d never expected, and was no longer freaking out at the thought of not being a single man.
