The recollection of what had happened left Heather a bit overwhelmed and she was thankful for the support her friend was showing her at the moment. In between, as she told her story she had finished her meal and they both decided to leave. She could imagine the looks of the waiters as she paid her eyes red rimmed clear evidence that she had been crying. " I can drive,'' Tamara offered as they left the restaurant but Heather declined, not wanting to be left to stew in her thoughts. Driving would take her mind off everything. She had no idea where they were heading as no prior arrangements for the night had been made. " Do you want to stay at my place or a hotel?
