Chapter 17Connor was snoring again. Every now and then he would mutter something more loudly and start to thrash about, but it was brief: whatever he was dreaming about wasn't that scary. Nothing of the sort was coming from the lawmen's tent. Miss Grant, alone in the house, probably had other things on her mind than the nightmares of the monster.
