As time flew by, Rue realized that it had already been two weeks since her last encounter with Heath at the statue of the Moon Goddess. The morning after, their meeting was brief and devoid of conversation, as they simply exchanged glances before Heath departed for other nearby territories to meet with the Alphas. It was important for them to form an alliance, in case the prince decided to go to battle. Accompanied by his Gamma, Mason, and friend Robin, Heath left his warriors behind, with his Beta- who happened to be Rue's father still- Leon, in charge.
The days had become a tedious routine for Rue. She woke up early every morning to train with Will and Seb at the field, practicing until noon. Afterwards, she either read a book or helped with some chores around the pack house. On Fridays
