The world was enveloped in darkness. The night had descended some time ago, but the light from the nearly full moon and countless stars illuminated the nocturnal surroundings. She ambled through one of the gardens that lay between the pack villa and the village of the Omegas, striving to identify her location.
Wolves have night vision; but in their human form they are bound to their human physique. Fortunately, it's easier for shifters to see into the night than non-shifters, but somehow she wished to transform to make the path easier.
The gardens lacked illumination, including lamps, spots, or any light source. This strategic decision was aimed at making the path more challenging to locate at night, even for individuals - be it humans or wolves- who were unfamiliar with the terrain. Alt
