Talia's POV:
The whole hypnosis affair had become the talk of the campus.
Ariana Vale even pleaded with me publicly.
"Talia, Ronan and I have known each other since we were children. He promised he would only ever marry me. You can't force someone to love you. Let him go."
Onlookers rushed to judge me, acting as though they stood on some moral high ground.
I watched her performance with amusement, then smiled calmly.
"That day I did hypnotize Ronan... but I never told him to chase after me."
The thought had crossed my mind, but it would have been too easy on him. Instead, the suggestion I planted was simple.
Follow your true heart.
I only wanted everyone to see exactly who he was. I never expected him to become the man I'd dreamed of all those nights.
