Chapter 1 ( Rewritten )

I am Alessandro Evander. Every story have a beginning. Mine definitely has a beginning. Everything written below is my, Alessandro Evander, Savior of Earth, story. I woke up in my dorm room, confused by the surrounding. I was on a battlefield. It didn't make sense because one minute before, I was dying and another, I was waking up in my bed. I tried to think. Was it all just a dream or was it real? I tried to think back... What happened to me? I remembered...fighting. Then death around me...people dying...blood on the ground as the Empress killed every last one of us...why did that happened? Wait a minute. If it was real, the world is in great trouble. If it was a dream, thank the gods. But I can't take any chances. I need to find out if it was a dream. Think back, Sander, think. No, it was real. The pain and the fear are too real. And I can remember everything clearly so it isn't a dream. If it is, I wouldn't be able to remember this much. Oh gods, humanity is going to end. Wait...I died. If I am dead, am I in heaven? Or did I just travel back in time. There is no such things as time traveling, right? Well, I believed that creatures such as the Empress didn't exist. So is this really time traveling? I moved my hand to touch my face...it was strange. My face felt younger, cleaner. I looked around my room. I was on a double bed. So there is someone living with me. I wonder who it is. Was it a girl last time, or a boy? Oh, yeah. I remember now. It was a girl. The fricking college messed up my room, causing them to put me in a room with someone who had no roommate. Unfortunately, it was a girl. Since it was a girl, the walls were all pink. It was ugly but after living in a bland environment for 10 years, any kind of color was good. There was a desk beside the double bed, with a laptop on it. Ugly pink posters were hanged on the wall. The bathroom was beside the desk. It was rare for a dorm to provide a private bathroom in a room. The shelves were filled with...pink toys? Seriously, was everything pink? I don't remember. I got out of the top bunk, and looked on the desk. There were two...phones? I instantly remembered mine. It was a piece of crap but it was still usable. I opened it and looked at the date. 29th of February? That means this is a leap year. I looked at the year and indeed, it was 2020. I used to think that 2020 was the worst year because of the COVID pandemic but honestly, it was better than the 2030 to 2040, the 10 years he lived.  I absentmindedly went into the bathroom and looked for my toothbrush. Oh, yeah. I didn't brush my teeth back then. Oof, my teeth are all black. Disgusting. I need to buy a new toothbrush. I looked at myself on the mirror above the sink. Gods, I had no muscles. My body in the next 10 years is so much stronger. I need to do my workout. I looked at my face and honestly, I was shocked. I thought my face was full of acne but it was clean. While I was looking at my body and face, I didn't notice the shower running. So much for battlefield senses. I finally noticed it when it suddenly stopped and a girl got out out of it, with a towel. "Oh shit." The girl yelled, "What the f**k, Sander? I am showering, don't you know how to knock?" I was speechless. I didn't remember her as this beautiful girl. Honestly, in the previously life, I hated this girl because I was forced to be a roommate with her. Human mind work so strange. She raised her eyebrows, "Cat got your tongues? Get the f**k out of here, Sander." I wasn't sure how to reply so I just cleared my throat and said, "Sorry!" and got out of there. Was she always that beautiful? I honestly don't remember her as this beautiful. And what was her name? Think! I don't want to embarrass my self again. Her name was...Sara? Yeah, her name was Sara, named as a princess. My thoughts were disturbed by an alarm on my phone. What is it? I took out my phone and looked at it. Oh s**t. Today is fitness day. Couldn't I just traveled farther back in time because I don't want to be looked liked ..like...this! This is so embarrassing. And there are things more important than this but I will go for today. I needed to think about how to defeat the Empress, the enemy of humanity. Or can I prevent the threat from emerging? I didn't know how it happened so I wouldn't know where to start. Since I can't prevent it, I need to prepare against it as well as I can. "Hello! Sander?" Humanity needs to win. I won't be defeated twice by the same enemy. "Hey! Sander! Can you hear me!" I need to make sure humanity survived. I didn't notice Sara standing in front of me until a slap landed on my cheek. "Oww. That hurts." She said, grinning, "Then you should stop staring." I asked, confused, "What?" I noticed what I was looking at. Oh god. I was so ashamed of myself for staring at her chest. "s**t, sorry. I was just thinking." Still grinning, "I know, I am just kidding. Now can you get out of my way? I need to wear clothes, y'know? I can't just go to fitness class with a towel." I laughed, "Sure, you can go with a towel. There are no rules that say that, right? But I think everyone would be distracted so I think you should go with clothes on. Yeah." She laughed with me, "You're funny. I thought you hated me. I'm glad that you don't anymore." I said, confused again, "I hated you? Did I? Oh, yeah, I did. Well, I decided to not let small things get in the way. I want to be friends with you." She smiled widely, "I'm glad. Can you turn around? I need to put my clothes on." I blushed, "Oh uhh sure." She giggled at how embarrassed I was. After Sara put her clothes on, I turned around and looked at her. She had blonde hair, with green eyes. Her body was elegant and you could tell that she exercised. Me, on the other hand... Yeah, you could imagine how unfit I was.
