New Allies-III

Sara stood up before Alessandro did, "Wait. I'll fight you. You can challenge him later." "No, don't. I will fight her." "Darling, I have all my memories back. I can handle her." "Well, if you want to fight me, who am I to decline you?" Mira got into her strange fighting stance. She suddenly jumped towards and kneed Sara. Sara jumped out of the way. Mira kept attacking her when Sara just keeping evading. She wouldn't be able to win against Mira like this. Sooner or later, she would lose. They seemed to know it too. Sara had experience from the last Apocalypse but even she couldn't last long against Mira. At last, Mira fainted left and Sara knew she was fainting but Mira was too fast for her to block. "Beaten by the oldest trick in the book. Oof. That hurt." "Sorry. Did I hit too hard? I hit too hard, didn't I?" "No, no. Nice fighting. Alessandro, your turn. Face me." "You better be worth my time." "Oh, don't worry. I am more than your match." He crouched, waiting for her to attack. Just as he predicted from the last match, she kicked him. He grabbed Mira's foot and threw her away but she landed with grace, "Nice. But I am not done yet." She punched him or rather, tried to punch him. He moved his head slightly and grabbed her, turned around, twisting her hand and judo flipping her. He tried to put his knee on her chest but she rolled away. "You are good. I'll give you that. Not many would be able to do that." They fought again. This time, Mira had learned not to underestimate him. They exchanged blows, getting faster and faster. It could be said that Mira won by cheating because she used her full force and kicked him. "Oh, sorry. Are you hurt? I can heal you." "No, no. That's alright. Are all vampires that strong?" "Yes, all of us are strong but it depends on the person. I can turn you, if you want." "I wouldn't be able to walk in the sunlight?" "You can still walk in the sunlight. It's just the sun is hotter and you get serious sunburn. Besides, you will need strength and agility to fight against the Empress." "I'll hold you to that. However, I don't want to lose my humanity if it isn't needed." "That's understandable. However, when you want me to turn you, you know where to find me." "I don't. Where are you staying?" "We are going to be staying and patrolling outside at night. No need to let more humans think there are vampires just yet. I heard you kept some animals in here to keep them from going extinct. Send me some animals. I promise I won't kill them. Animal blood isn't this good but it is better than nothing." "Of course. Thanks for not drinking human blood?" "No problem." He didn't see clearly but it looked like she took one step and she was gone. Sara gasped, "Where did she go?" "I think that's magic. Better not to ask since it doesn't follow the rules of nature." "Well, as you say so. Do you believe her?" "Didn't you see how she kicked me? It was fast and have more strength than she should have. It sent me flying into the wall. Can you apply some medicine? I would appreciate it." "Of course, dear." It was strange. Sara had regained all her memories and he guessed that she still had feelings for him.  "So you really remember everything?" "Yes." "So, you know how dangerous these kings are, right?" "Yes." "I need you to go with some of our army. You have the experience." "Of course. But to where?" "We are retaking the island. And since our new 'allies' are here, we can easily retake this land. I believe these allies can easily defeat the minotaurs or even kings but they lack something." "What is it?" "Our martial art. You remember the fighting styles last Apocalypse? Well, I've been teaching them to the civilians. I believe they will be able to fight in hand-to-hand combat later. And if we could teach it to the vampires, it could increase the chance of us succeeding. But however there is a disadvantage. The vampires will know the fighting style and they would be able to use it against us. What should I do?" "Right now, the minotaurs are more of a threat and we need every allies we can get." "That give me an idea. Ophelia, call the Burnhill organization." "What why? Aren't they behind the Apocalypse?" "I don't think so. Mira said that they are a supernatural species which they have been fighting for a long time. That would mean that Burnhill isn't behind the Apocalypse." Ophelia called them, after a beat, they answered. "Who is this? We are busy trying to kill these things so if you don't mind, hung up." "I don't think I will. To be honest, I've met with dozens of your employees. They were bad at fighting." "Who is this?" "Alessandro. And let me give you a tip. Aim for the head. A bullet or decapitating the head is enough to kill them." "Well, Alessandro. You knew this would happen?" "Of course, I did. Why the f**k do you think I've been doing researches on this island? And I know about the spies you planted on my island. Don't think you know everything about me. I've been feeding them false information." "If you know that we've been spying on you, why didn't you do anything? And why call us now?" "I didn't do anything because I don't consider you a threat. And I've received new information about something that made me contact you." "Well, what is it? Be quick about it." "I want us to work together to extinct the fuckers."
