“You’re not leaving a guard to protect him,” I growl at Seth and Molly. “He needs family.”
Molly shakes her head. “I think he needs some time alone. Grandma Cora’s home is the closest thing to alone that he can get. He’s safe.”
I shake my head. It’s not right. Someone should be closer to him. I know that kid, and he’s not alright. Hell, I’m not alright knowing what he saw.
