Things were difficult for me when I first found Molly. I scented her when I actively attempted not to. I told her things that hurt her. Then she told me about her dream about the wolf with the green eyes, and I didn’t trust my own parents around her. I knew, deep down, that she was related to Benjamin that night. I had no proof, but I had a gut feeling.
It wasn’t what was said, but the way Randall reacted. It was the way that, in every situation, her father made sure she wasn’t near my father. He never told me, but I know he, at the very least, suspected it.
And then Molly met Lily. She ran off to the rogue land- to Benjamin. Her hand was damaged, we thought we’d need a human doctor, and I was just useless. I was on high alert for so long, wanting to keep her safe.
