I hear my mate laugh through the link. I’m walking Grandma home and then I’ll be up to explain. I didn’t want Andrew to tell you before me.
“Can we eat yet?” Emily asks again.
I sigh and give in. “Yeah. Go ahead and take it into the play room.”
Her eyes grow wide with excitement. “We get to eat at the TV?!”
“Just for tonight,” I tell her as I fix plates for her, Mason, and Tyler.
