Queen Cora’s death came out of nowhere, and it hit me hard. She was a rock when I needed one. She was a rock for so many of us, without even realizing it. No one can ever convince me that she wasn’t hanging on for Laylah’s birthday.
I was surprised she agreed to come back with Andrew, though not upset. It’s good to have the kids home. Seth needed to speak with Andrew, and Laylah had to talk to Michael and Oliver. I’m sure they’re both having much-needed conversations. I’m honestly a little surprised Cora didn’t hang on until Laylah told Michael. She always loved him, even if she called him the grumpy one.
