I sit, waiting near the path at the wolfsbane grove. Andrew is going to sneak out. Is it even sneaking out when he’s living in a tent? Either way, he needs a guard with him, and I know he’s not going to allow that.
He’s later than I thought he would be, but as expected, Andrew eventually walks down the path. I’m shocked to find he’s not alone, though.
“Wait over there,” he tells Benjamin. “Don’t watch me.”
Benjamin holds up a book. “I’ll be in the woods, close enough to hear. If you’re attacked, you’d better yell.”
I shake my head. I should have known they’d be in on this together. They’re the two biggest rule breakers in the family. One of them is sneaky and knocks out his guards, while the other never even tries to hide it.
