“You,” I say, pointing at my oldest nephew. “You’re coming with me today.”
Andrew furrows his brow in confusion, but he follows me as I lead him into another section of the woods.
“Are you doing my law class today?” Andrew asks.
I nearly laugh. “I’m the last person who should be teaching a law class.”
“You’re an Alpha.”
“Barely. I’m still not sure why the Goddess made us both Alpha. It should have been Ada alone.”
I spent years trying to figure it out, but I never found an answer. I never came across a single thing that even remotely made sense. There’s no reasonable explanation as to why the goddess made us both alphas of the pack, and there never will be..
