-Andrew- “Thanks for checking on him,” Grandma Audrey whispers in my ear as she hugs me and kisses my cheek. I want to tell her that it wasn’t what I was doing. I don’t know what I was doing, though. I shouldn’t have followed him out. I go inside and down the hall to Dad’s office. Dad and Grandma Cora are on the couch and speaking softly, while Mom sits in a chair across from them.
