I busted through the meeting room door searching for answers, I had to find out if Ryker was right, however when I looked around the meeting hall, I was met with a death stare from Abraham, Alpha Mathew's eldest son. He hated me. Everyone hated me didn’t they realize I hated sharing a last name with that Fecker? He was my own kin. He killed my mother and my built in best friend. Did they really think I was proud of who my father was?

I had to fight for my spot as Alpha in his pack at 10 years old ... I had to grow and learn wrong and right all by myself and the help of my beta and my father's beta. I took my seat and my Beta Beau sat beside me, “Where did you go Alpha Keane, I was worried?” “I had to go to the washroo--” “Ahem. Attention Alpha’s, I bet you are all wondering why your presence was requested today.” Beckett announced to the crowd.

“We have a problem, and we need to form a plan on how to protect each pack from destruction possibly coming our way” the muttering of the Alpha’s came vocal Alpha Archer announced, “What is the problem? How can we fix it.” Beckett took a seat as Alpha Matthew stood and said my worse fear, my blood turned cold, and I felt all eyes on me. My heart jumped in my chest as he said. “Alpha Mayhem was seen outside my borders last night, He left two dead humans in his wake. He has returned and I don’t like the feeling in my gut of what is to come next. As you all know what happened last time Alpha Mayhem was here and the torture, he placed on all our heads, we must not fail at his capture this time.”

I couldn’t breathe, I was trapped in my mind Ryker was pissed. He was lashing at the front of my mind trying to escape. He wanted vengeance for Mariah and Brielle, my sister and mother. He wanted my father's blood as much as I did. The meeting hall was silent for a moment until we heard screams and growls coming from the hallway, Alpha Matthew went on high alert as did the rest of us. Within a moment the door flung open we all snarled at the gray wolf with black stripes on its back, watching for what It was after until Abraham called out to Matthis. He came directly to Abraham; you could tell they were talking through the mind-link with a jump he transformed into a massive silver wolf and took off for the door not giving a glance back. Each Alpha looked at each other and decided to transform one after another we followed out the door... Ryker was as tall as the doors... Jet black with 4 gray paws and gray spots all down his back he had one white spot on his shoulder, his elders say his sister was supposed to be Completely white with a black spot in the same place as his to show there special bond with that thought I released control over to Ryker letting his run his frustrations out, letting him feel free.. , Abraham mind linked us all informing us the capital was under attack by rouges. Me and my beta attacked alongside the other alphas and capital warriors we fought tooth and nail until an unknown mind-linked all of us. It was my father, I wanted to scream at his voice. “Now now where is my princess? Why have you locked her away from me... You know I will find her and make her mine one day atlas you fools think you can hide from me. I'm the most powerful Alpha to walk on this earth. Keane, do you have your ears on buddy boy? I know you're angry with me, but won't you hold a poor man's hand? I am your father after all join me and I will show you how powerful you are.”

I growled how dare he talk to me after all he has taken from me, I fought hard trying to keep mine and Rykers focus on the fight ahead not my father. When all was said and done, I changed back into spare clothes my beta pulled from our saddle bags and we helped Alpha Matthew check on the injured and tend to the dead. Abraham and I were talking when a young lad came running to him. “She is burning up me and Abigail tried cooling her off and we can’t find Thea, we need you to come help us.”

“Hux search for her NOW! Find her and send her to Oak’s Chambers at once.” Abe turned to me with disgust. “Thanks for staying and fighting but you can leave now.” “Who is injured what's wrong? Can I help?” “psht you have done enough who's to say you're not working Fo-” before I knew what came over me I had him by his neck against the tree “Helping who?” I screamed the hair on my neck standing up he couldn’t mean my father I hate the Fecker. “Put me down Keane I'm sorry, your father is the reason my sister suffers and it's going to kill her.”

I looked him up and down, “f**k you and your sorry I lost everything because of him, and you think I want to help him? You're deranged. Your sister take me to her I will have Valerie my elder help Beau go to the horses and get Valerie at this instance.” We all walked down the hall and I was taken back at the smell. It’s the same smell we had in the meeting hall. Ryker came flooring to the front of my mind seeking the smell. My heart was racing I couldn’t really believe that small was anything more than an unknown she-wolf.

We were at the door when out of know where two meatheads stepped in my path pushing me backwards from the group, I looked at Abraham as he shouted, “Hux. Mathais he's with me he's here to help let him pass.” Hux Grunted, “He could be a traitor” I wanted to snatch his heart from his chest, but I just brushed my shirt down keeping Ryker at bay they moved so I could pass.Behind that door might change my whole life and I was ready to find out if what Ryker thought was true.
