Mina’s POV
Entering Book Nook Cafe Monday morning Mina was surprised to find Deacon standing behind the counter. Unlike the last time she saw him today he wore a form fitted black t-shirt and jeans. She knew he was in good shape but damn did he look good even with the dish towel slung over his shoulder. Focusing back on his face it was then that she noticed the scowl on his face.
Great looks like he wasn’t going to start being nice to her. With that thought she squared her shoulders and put on her best nothing can bother me smile.
As she approached the counter Deacons head snapped up his frown slowly turning up into what she thought was a shy smile, but that can’t be right. There was no way this tall grumpy hottie was shyly smiling at her.
