Shelly’s POV I wake up with a jolt, disoriented and panicked, the world spinning around me. The last thing I remember is rushing towards the school after catching sight of Sabrina’s text. But now, I find myself in a dimly lit, unfamiliar room, my wrists tightly bound to a cold metal chair. My heart thunders in my chest, and I can still feel the remnants of the chloroform swirling in my head. I squint in the low light, trying to make sense of my surroundings. The walls are bare, painted a dull gray that matches the oppressive atmosphere clinging to me. A flickering bulb overhead casts eerie shadows. My vision is slowly coming back to normal and I can make out a bed, dresser, and two doors in the room. One of them is my exit route. The other one is hopefully a bathroom. My breath quicken
