It’s been a month since Sebastian was shot, and he's finally back to his old self. This past month has been a whirlwind, a roller coaster of emotions and events.
From Michal and the bravest of our lot rescuing all those women and children, to the fight and determination shown in Sebastian’s long recovery each moment has been intense and filled with raw emotion.
When the women and children first joined our group, they were in terrible shape, both physically and emotionally. Their haunted eyes spoke of horrors unimaginable, scars visible and hidden, and a deep, terrifying silence that gripped our hearts. They ranged in age from mere newborns to thirty-year-olds, each carrying stories of pain and survival.
