Shelly’s POV
As we pull up to the house, I’m immediately enveloped in a fit of laughter, unable to contain myself at the sight before me. Sebastian’s eyes are wide with shock, his jaw slightly dropped as he stares at the mountain of boxes neatly lined up in the driveway.
Sabrina and I had a little spree today, and now the delivery truck is here, unloading all the treasures we meticulously picked out together. I catch Sebastian’s eye and his baffled expression is simply priceless, a mix of incredulity and amusement that makes my belly ache with laughter.
Sabrina catches on to my amusement, turning her head just in time to see Sebastian’s bewildered face, and she bursts out laughing as well. Her laughter is infectious, a melodious echo that plays on the gentle afternoon breeze.
