Sabrina’s POV
Michal and I walked through the door, and as we stepped into the room, we were immediately enveloped by a loud chorus of "Surprise!" and "Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy!"
The unexpected warmth and camaraderie from the people we love unleashed a flood of emotions inside me. Tears began to well up in my eyes, not from sadness, but from overwhelming gratitude. Shelly had orchestrated this wonderful surprise, and I felt truly blessed to have such thoughtful friends.
As I wiped away the happy tears, I waddled over to Shelly, eager to give her a big bear hug. My round belly, however, made the hug a bit of a challenge, resulting in a lot of laughter between us.
