MERIDA'S POV
I was hearing some voices in the palace and I recognized Jude's voice immediately. He was in a conversation with Lucian, I stretched my ears to eavesdrop a bit on them but their voices grew more faint as I tried to hear them converse. After a while, I heard the door open and a guard walked in, leading me into the palace. My heart raced and I was puzzled by the whole scenario playing out. I was tempted to ask the guard where he was taking me to but on a second thought, I ignored the thought and followed gently behind him,on blindfolds as he led me into the palace.
When we finally got to the palace, I recognized Jude's voice and called him. "Jude?" My heart thumped as he moved close to me and hugged me. By that time, the guard had already removed the blindfold from my eyes. I
