I had no choice but to succumb to her threats, I knew her so well and I knew what she was capable of doing. She would paint the whole story and make me look like a bad person. The shocking thing about her was that between me and her, everyone would choose to believe her over me; she was so sugarcoated and she knew how to use her words to get people to love her indifferently and hate the other person. She was such a manipulative and malicious person. Her voice kept playing all over in my head and I was lost in deep thoughts, thinking about what had just happened. Merida was never going to be happy with me if she gets to find out about the affair I had with Cecilia earlier today. She would surely see me as betrayal and she will avoid me for the rest of her life.
