MERIDA'S POV
The morning of the following day, after Jude had confronted Cecilia and her men on my behalf, they connived and decided to take me out of the cave, to a strange place. It was very early, Jude and I were still fast asleep. Then they came gently to where I was lying and thumped me silently on my shoulder, making sure not to wake Jude from his sleep. They blindfolded me and held my mouth firmly with their hands just to stop me from making any sound.
I struggled for my freedom but they were stronger than me, especially Derek, who was the leader of the gang. Forcing me into the car, they removed the blindfold from my eyes and my gaze met Cecilia as she smiled at me viciously.
