MERIDA'S POV
There were a lot of strange happenings in the palace that kept the King restless for days. He would get angry and yell at the palace workers for no valid reason, and in rare cases, he beat them up beyond recognition. For some days, I never saw Lucia neither did she see me. I guess she was also a victim of the King's backlashes; the palace became a really hot and life-threatening place for everyone as the King's anger burnt down to every single person, both old and young. In as much as I was not happy by his actions, I liked the fact that he was gently getting acquainted with me and he didn't torture me extensively like before.
