The elders stared at me in disbelief, surprised at what I had just said. They had expected me to lay a curse on Cecilia and her mother, I glanced at Cecilia who was still shivering out of fear and then at her mother.
"I've learned to always let things go, forgiveness is key and I have nothing to gain in their banishment." I explained to the elders who were now staring at me disgustingly.
They kept straight faces and remained silent for several minutes before an old man came out and cleared his throat. "Well, it is your choice my Queen and I'm happy that you have decided to bury the past behind you and move on." The other elders murmured at what he said, throwing him a deadly glance as if telling him to keep quiet.
