We headed back to the cave, disappointed at how badly things turned out. Cecilia had finally succeeded in making me a laughing stock.
For Cecilia to be this powerful and even more manipulative, it only meant one thing; she was using the mysterious box against us. It was certain that the only way we could get her to surrender to us was to get the box out of her possession.
"Guys, I have a suggestion." I announced happily but they paid no attention to me. "Is that another joke to lure us into your trap and lies? Be serious for once." Jace howled at me fiercely and continued on the journey.
I didn't blame him at all for his actions, I had failed them in the first place and getting them to believe me again would be a really great deal of work to do.
