As I stepped out of the company, I quietly waved goodbye to my chances of getting back there. Jones was not a man to toy with, and whatever he said, he would make sure he did it exactly that way.
Just as I had imagined it, I walked into the cave to find Merida lying uncomfortably on the couch. My confusion piqued because I remembered vividly telling her where our room was situated. Why then was she lying here even when she was aware that she was nothing close to being comfortable.
