Merida? Was my eyes playing tricks on me? Her voice and everything about her didn't change a bit. I ran towards her hurriedly and embraced her into a tight hug. I was almost shedding tears as an Alpha, I didn't want to be seen as an emotional weakling. After a long moment of hugging and embracing each other, I lifted her gently on my back as we headed for my cave. My joy knew no bounds, I was still in shock that finally I got to hold Merida in my arms again. My mind drifted to the witch doctor who had previously informed us about Merida's arrival, he was right indeed! In no time, Merida was back to me and I could not but smile happily.
