MERIDA'S POV
She kept taking me round and showing all the beautiful corners of the palace. It was indeed a joyous moment for her; I could literally feel it from her voice as she spoke to me. She must be happy to finally have a real friend who was willing to stand by her, not knowing that it wasn't who she thought it was.
We went into her chambers after a good time of showing me around the whole palace. Just as we were about settling down, we heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Cecilia said and we fixed our gaze on the door, waiting for the person to walk in. The door screeched open and Cecilia's mother walked in, carrying some plates of food. "This is for our newfound friend and family. Meanwhile, Cecilia let me see you outside." She stated and left the room, shutting the door behind.
