Ford’s POV
Livia is gone. Again.
“Did something happen?” Nadine is upset. “Why… I don’t understand! It’s not supposed to be like that! She was supposed to stay. She was having fun!”
She turns to me for answers, but I have nothing for her.
I just stare at the spot on the other side of the booth where she’s supposed to be sitting.
And I just can’t believe I messed it up again.
Is it because I talked to her after I found her in the bathroom? Is it because I implied that she was doing something in there? Something that she wasn’t supposed to be doing? Something that involved… me?
The thing is, I’m not even sure if I heard it right. I don’t even know for sure if she was touching herself and moaning my name….
