Madeline holds my hand as we leave the community college.
It’s not very late. The talk was quicker than I thought it would be. And it also turned out that they actually had a dummy for the demo.
Which means that Madeline didn’t need to be there.
Which also means that Livia didn’t have to leave.
“You did really well,” Madeline says, kissing my cheek. “I’m really happy that we got to see each other even though it’s not on schedule. I have to admit, having to see my boyfriend according to a strict schedule was driving me a little insane.”
