“Are you sure?”
My voice doesn’t sound quite like my own.
“Yeah, I’m sure.” Rafael sounds a little annoyed. “Eva and her late husband… both only children. Both with dead parents. Livia Perry has no distant living relative. She’s the last of both her parents’ side.”
The world around me is suddenly spinning.
Questions occupy my mind, cramming in there to the point of bursting.
