You may imagine that by this time I would be in the grip of fear, or an intense panic, but you would be wrong. My utmost concern at that point was to get a message, via my lawyer Mr. Waters, to Laura explaining that these buffoons had arrested the wrong man and that she should not worry as all would be well. I must say I was rather concerned as to how things were panning out but I was not going to lose my nerve unduly as there was every chance I would be released at any time.
