Adrian’s POV
“There’s supposed to be a board meeting at 12:00 PM today at the office, so you need to be there early. I need to introduce you to the board members officially,” I said to Elena over breakfast.
She looked up from her phone, eyebrows raised. “I thought they were all present on the day of our wedding, so what’s up with me meeting them? Besides, it’s six weeks into our marriage already, and I don’t think it’s necessary anymore.” She paused, her expression hardening slightly. “In case you’ve forgotten, this is just a marriage signed on paper.
