The Lee family estate wasn’t just a house—it was a full announcement to the world.
The black iron gates opened to a long driveway with neatly trimmed hedges on both sides. The house looked like something out of a fancy magazine—smooth straight lines, huge floor-to-ceiling windows, and the evening sky reflecting in the glass. Warm light glowed from inside, making the place look friendly from far away.
But up close?
It didn’t feel friendly at all.
