Chapter 15“This is nice,” Galen said as he lay down next to Dion on the picnic mat and admired the twinkling stars that were strewn across the dark evening sky.
He and Dion managed to consume quite a bit of food and beverages during dinner, and he was more than comfortably full now. The two of them had put the leftover away before they decided to take a short rest on the mat. Dion turned his head sideways and smiled at Galen.
“I think so, too. Thank you.”
Galen beamed at Dion in return. “You’re welcome. It’s my pleasure really. I’m just glad you like it.”
“I absolutely do. This date has been amazing right from the start. It has impressive decoration and wonderful food, and we get to enjoy it all underneath the stars. Oh, and I love those black roses.”
“They’re beautiful, aren’t they?”
