Cal had stayed with Elise for as long as he could. Watching her curled against his chest was worth the risk of the pain the sun would bring. Cal laughed quietly when he seen both cats curled up on Elise's love seat. He was looking for a pen to leave her a note when he noticed a book on Emperor Caligula and the era of his reign on an end table that caused his heart to skip a beat. Does she know?  Cal thought about taking the book but decided to leave it alone. He found a pen and wrote 'I'll get Saint tonight. Had to leave.
