Elise walked towards him slowly. She wasn’t sure it was a good idea, but he seemed confident. He held out his hand and she took it looking at him warily at first, then she saw the predawn world. Shades of pink, orange, blue, and red greeted her from the sky. She’d seen sun rises before but never like that.
